Precision Converting Solutions has expanded its manufacturing footprint in Asia with a new 1,400 square meter (15,000 square feet) facility in Pathum Thani, Thailand.
The expansion adds to group's presence in Asia, augmenting the capability and capacity of its existing facility, Siam Precision Components Ltd (SPC).
Panupong Ridsomjit, Partner and General Manager of PCS and SPC, says the expansion allows the company to better serve its markets both in Asia and globally.
"With new capacity in our precision tool shops as well as new class 1K cleanroom manufacturing space, we can support the growth we are projecting over the coming quarters," he said.
With a promotion from Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), the company expects to serve customers worldwide from the new facility. "Our new customers are in a wide range of industries and markets around the world, so BOI's import and export privileges allow us to efficiently serve them without added costs," Ridsomjit explained.
PCS expects to complete facilitization and ramp production in the new facility in 2016.
